This
guide is designed to assist presenters in preparing and delivering their
presentations smoothly during the parallel sessions. Please read the following
requirements carefully to ensure a successful presentation.
Each
presentation is allocated 10–12 minutes for the main talk and 3–5 minutes for
Q&A, totaling 15 minutes per presentation. Conference volunteers will be
assigned to track the time for each presenter. If your presentation exceeds the
allocated time, the volunteer will give a signal to remind you to conclude your
talk promptly.
A
PPT (PowerPoint) presentation is required for all talks. All presentation
materials (including PPT slides, handouts, if any) must be prepared in English,
as English is the official presentation language of the conference. You may use
Chinese or other languages as an
auxiliary/assisting language.
Each parallel session will have assigned
session chairs to coordinate the session. A separate chairing guide will be
sent to the session chairs. If a session has multiple chairs, please divide
your duties (e.g., time management, Q&A moderation, session introduction) before the start of the session to ensure smooth
operation.
If
your presentation is delivered by multiple co-authors, please distribute the
10–12 minute presentation duration reasonably among all co-presenters in
advance. Ensure that the transition between co-presenters is smooth and that
the entire presentation is coherent and well-structured.
We
appreciate your cooperation and preparation. Should you have any questions,
please contact the conference organizing committee or the session chairs. Good
luck with your presentation!
